Jarrod Ribble

Jarrod Ribble has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jarrod is currently serving as the Head Of Engineering at Awardco since November 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Consulting Software Engineer at Briostack from March 2021 to July 2021, where they worked on projects such as technician scheduling algorithms and a payment processor integration. Jarrod also served as the CTO and Founding Engineer at Briostack from August 2013 to March 2021, where they developed a SaaS offering for pest control service businesses.

Before joining Briostack, Jarrod worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Vivint Solar in May 2013, where they utilized nodejs, angularjs, and couchdb to collect and analyze electricity generation and hardware error information. Jarrod also set up an automated build, test, and deploy system using Jenkins, grunt, and Amazon Web Services.

Prior to Vivint Solar, Jarrod held the role of Senior Software Engineer at NetIQ from September 2008 to May 2013. Jarrod also worked as a Software Consultant at Veracity Communications from February 2008 to September 2008 and as the Director of Software Engineering at Nuvont Communications from October 2007 to February 2008.

Jarrod's earlier experiences include working as the CTO and Co-Founder at Short Stack Software from June 2004 to October 2007, where they had primary operational responsibility and managed full P&L, project and software life cycle management, and team management. Jarrod also served as a Senior Software Engineer at Brooks Automation from December 1996 to June 2004, working on multiple software projects and teams in various capacities.

Their career began as a Software Engineer at Autosimulations, Inc and Senior Software Engineer at Applied Materials, where they held positions from 1996 until 2004.

Jarrod Ribble attended Brigham Young University from 1992 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering.
