Ria Purcell

Ria Purcell is the Owner and Choreographer of Milkshake Dance & Performance Academy since September 2016, with a strong background in choreography for various productions, including the role of Director/Choreographer for the ‘X-Xibit Hip Hop & Funk Dance Showcase’ and ‘Urban Jamm’. Ria has collaborated with multiple organizations, serving as a choreographer for notable musicals such as ‘9 to 5 The Musical’ and ‘High School Musical’. Alongside artistic endeavors, Ria contributes as a Support Line Volunteer at Aware since June 2021. Ria holds a BA Hons in Psychology from Dublin Business School and is pursuing a Master's degree in Health Psychology at the University of Galway. Ria's earlier education includes a National Professional Diploma in Dance and Musical Theatre from The Urdang Academy and a Diploma in Dance from The College of Dance.
