Nikhil Teja

Nikhil Teja has extensive work experience in the field of psychiatry and medical research. Nikhil is the Founder of Adaptive Psychiatric and previously worked as a Medical Director at Aware Recovery Care In Home Addiction Treatment. Nikhil also served as a Psychiatrist at LifeStance Health and WestBridge - Men's Mental Health & Substance Use Treatment. Additionally, Nikhil worked as a Clinical Research Physician at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Nikhil has a background in academia, having served as a House Officer in Psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock and as a MCAT Review Instructor at Examkrackers, INC. Nikhil also worked as a Research Assistant at the National Cancer Institute and gained experience as a Tutor in the maths and sciences through Independent Tutoring. Nikhil has further experience as an Emergency Room Scribe at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

Nikhil Teja completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2003 to 2006. Nikhil then pursued a Post-Bac program at the University of Maryland in 2009-2010. Following that, they completed graduate studies in Economics at Georgetown University from 2006 to 2007. Finally, Nikhil Teja obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Tulane University, specializing in Medicine, from 2012 to 2016.
