Omar Saeed

Omar Saeed currently serves as the Stroke Medical Director and Neurohospitalist at Mary Washington Healthcare since July 2023. Prior to this role, Omar held various positions at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, including Adjunct Assistant Professor from August 2023 to July 2025, Vascular Neurology Fellow, Neurology Resident, and Internal Medicine Intern from July 2018 to June 2023. Omar's early career includes a Clinical Research Fellow position at the Zeenat Qureshi Stroke Institute, where responsibilities encompassed data gathering, charting, and data analysis, along with clinical research in stroke and manuscript preparation. Additional clinical rotations and observerships were completed at prestigious institutions, covering various specialties such as pulmonary and critical care, infectious disease, movement disorders, interventional neurology, and gastroenterology. Omar obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Foundation University Medical College between 2004 and 2009.
