Anthony Handwerker

Anthony Handwerker has extensive experience in risk and compliance roles. Most recently, they served as the Head of Risk & Compliance for Technology, Operations, and Corporate Development at Aware Super since February 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Risk Governance and Enterprise Risk at Allianz Insurance from September 2019 to February 2021. From September 2019 to February 2021, they also served as the Chief Risk Officer at the Northern Territory Motor Accidents Compensation Commission (NT MACC). Before that, Anthony worked at Link Group (LNK) as the Head of Risk & Assurance from February 2010 to September 2019. Anthony also held positions at AMP as a Risk Assurance Manager (contract) from October 2009 to February 2010, Westpac Group as a Consultant for Operational Risk and Compliance (contract) from June 2009 to September 2009, BearingPoint as a Risk and Compliance Consultant from 2008 to 2009, and State Street as an Operational Risk Analyst from 2006 to 2008.

Anthony Handwerker received a Master of Arts degree in Economic History, Linguistics, and Literature from Goethe-University Frankfurt in Germany. Anthony also pursued studies in General Law at the same university, although the exact degree earned is unspecified.
