Sarah Ieong

Sarah Ieong is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in both Australian and international tax matters. Currently serving in the Group Tax department at Aware Super since July 2022, Sarah previously held roles at Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation as a Transaction Tax specialist and at Deloitte Australia as a Senior Tax Analyst. At Deloitte, responsibilities included managing a diverse client portfolio, applying complex tax rules, reviewing corporate income tax returns, and assisting with Australian Taxation Office submissions. Early career experiences include tutoring Indigenous students in Commerce at UNSW, working as a paralegal at Kingsford Legal Centre and GOH Lawyers, and leading promotional teams for Etcom. Sarah holds a Master of Laws (LLM) and a Graduate Diploma in Tax Law from the University of Sydney, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Law and Commerce from UNSW.
