Shaun Martin

Shaun Martin has a diverse range of work experience in the IT and information security field. Shaun is currently the Head of Information Security at Aware Super, a position they have held since July 2019. Prior to that, Shaun worked at First State Super, where they held multiple roles including Senior Manager - IT Security from January 2018 to June 2019, Manager - Technology Office from February 2016 to January 2018, and IT Manager from July 2012 to February 2016. Before joining First State Super, Shaun worked at Health Super as the Infrastructure and Network Lead from April 2010 to June 2012 and as a Network Administrator from June 2008 to April 2010. Shaun also had a brief role as an IT Systems Support Officer at Symbion Health from January 2008 to June 2008. Shaun's early experience includes working as a Technical Systems Manager at Defcredit from April 2004 to June 2007.

Shaun Martin's education history begins in 1997 when they enrolled at Victoria University of Wellington. Shaun pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on History, Art History, and Education. Their studies in this program lasted until 2000.

In 2006, Shaun attended Swinburne University of Technology, where they pursued a Diploma of Business. This program lasted for one year, ending in 2007.

Aside from their formal education, Shaun has obtained several additional certifications. In 2019, they obtained the ITIL Foundation Level certification from PeopleCert. Shaun also obtained the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA in the same year. In 2012, Shaun earned a VMware Certified Professional certification from VMware. Lastly, in 2010, they obtained the Tripwire Enterprise Professional certification from Tripwire.
