Vijaya Kumar Venkatesan has a diverse work experience in the field of software testing. Vijaya Kumar is currently working as a Senior Test Analyst at Aware Super since March 2022. Prior to this, they were employed at GROW Inc as a Senior Test Analyst from January 2021 to March 2022.

Before GROW Inc, Vijaya worked at Mindtree as a Senior Test Specialist from February 2018 to December 2020, and as a Senior Software Test Engineer from August 2015 to January 2018. In Mindtree, they were responsible for testing the Member & Employer Web Portal in Link Group system, which provided comprehensive fund administration solutions for superannuation funds in Australia.

Earlier in their career, Vijaya worked at Amazon.com as a Senior Device Associate - Quality Assurance Test from July 2014 to July 2015. Vijaya Kumar was responsible for leading a team of Device Associates and managing testing activities for the Kindle store and other Kindle products.

Vijaya Kumar started their career as a Software Test Engineer at Syntel in November 2011 and worked there until July 2014. In Syntel, they were involved in testing a web-based application for American Express Financial Advisers and successfully led a team of testers for a release testing.

Vijaya Kumar continued their education by pursuing a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Madras, completing their studies from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, they attended Govt School Guduvancheri for a Master's Degree in Computer Science, from 2006 to 2007.
