Rick Albanese

Rick Albanese is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data engineering and analytics. Currently serving as a Data Engineer II at Away, Rick is responsible for designing and implementing machine learning infrastructure and developing product recommendation systems. Previously, at Ascent Funding, Rick developed SQL procedures and utilized Python for data extraction and processing. Rick's background includes roles as a Data Scientist and Business Intelligence Analyst at National University, where statistical analysis and data pipeline engineering were key responsibilities. Early career experiences include data analysis at Navitas Organics and an internship at Cuvaison Estate Wines, complemented by leadership roles in finance at the Associated Students of Sonoma State University. Rick holds a Master of Science in Data Science from National University and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Sonoma State University.
