Dipen N. Sinha

Dipen Sinha is a prominent expert in sensor technology and acoustics, currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of AWE Technologies LLC since May 2018, where technical leadership is provided for developing innovative sensors and platforms. As President and Founder of Sinha Scientific Solutions, Inc., also established in April 2018, Sinha focuses on novel solutions for challenging technical problems through unique sensing technologies. Additionally, Sinha is a Los Alamos National Laboratory Associate Fellow since July 2022, contributing support to ultrasonics and sensor research projects. An adjunct professor at Stony Brook University since August 2020, Sinha previously held significant roles at Los Alamos National Laboratory from 1986 to 2018, where a major team in Acoustics and Sensors was founded, and various innovative sensor technologies were developed. Sinha holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Portland State University and has a substantial academic and professional foundation in physics, having studied at prestigious institutions such as the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and St. Xavier's College.
