Greg S.

Greg S. has over 17 years of experience in the technology industry. Greg started their career in 2003 as a Web Developer, Technical Lead, and Director of Technology and Web Development at Trinet Internet Solutions. During this time, they built web applications and sites for clients in various programming languages, created a distributed media dissemination software for an international radio network, and architected a custom-developed HTTP Live Streaming (HLS / iOS) simulated-live streaming server.

In 2016, Greg S. joined AWM as the VP of Technology and VP of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision. In this role, they led the artificial intelligence and computer vision team, designed algorithms and architected solutions to enable tracking and understanding of shopper and employee behavior, and was responsible for cloud resources and IoT / edge computing hardware.

In addition to these roles, Greg S. has also worked on various other projects over the years, including idea incubation and development, network engineering and system administration, computer repair, physics grading, and math tutoring.

Greg S. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara.
