Benjamin Lynn has a diverse work experience spanning different roles in the financial industry. Benjamin began their career at Marshall Bryant Limited IFAs as a Paraplanner/Administrator, where they sourced mortgage business and provided investment illustrations. Benjamin then served as a Mortgage Compliance Officer at Alexander Hall Associates Limited, preparing mortgage suitability reports and ensuring compliance regulations were followed.

Lynn later joined HSBC as a Financial Planning Manager, where they advised clients on mortgages, protection needs, and conducted savings and investment reviews. Benjamin then became an Independent Mortgage Consultant at St Andrews Financial Limited, advising high net worth clients on mortgages, protection products, and managing case administration.

Benjamin briefly worked as an Independent Mortgage Consultant at Hamptons International Mortgages Limited before joining NatWest as a Regulatory Supervisor/Area Manager. In this role, Lynn was responsible for compliance oversight, complaints handling, and managing mortgage advisers and branch-based sellers.

Lynn then transitioned to KPMG UK as a Regulatory Risk Consultant, focusing on conduct risk and suitability assignments for various clients. Benjamin acted as a Quality Control Manager, Subject Matter Expert, and led the assessment of complex derivatives.

After that, Lynn joined BDO UK LLP as a Manager FS Risk Advisory, managing conduct-based reviews and advisory assignments for clients, including new challenger banks and wealth management firms. Benjamin also served as a Conduct Risk Subject Matter Expert within the firm.

Currently, Lynn is working for AXA PPP healthcare as the Head of Conduct & 1LoD Compliance. Their responsibilities include providing regulatory advice, managing regulatory initiatives, and ensuring compliance aligned with business objectives.

Throughout their career, Lynn has demonstrated a strong understanding of complex regulations, provided pragmatic solutions, and played a significant role in managing compliance.

Benjamin Lynn completed a Bachelor of Science in Criminology with honors (2:1) from the University of South Wales from 1997 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys from 1990 to 1997.
