Wei Hoong Chan has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Wei Hoong began their career as an Actuarial Executive at AmG Insurance Berhad in 2010 and worked there until 2013. Wei Hoong then joined HSBC Amanah Takaful as an Actuarial Manager (General Takaful) from 2013 to 2017. In 2017, they joined AXA Insurance Thailand and held various positions including Head of Insurance Risk Management, Head of Corporate Actuarial, Chief Actuary, Chief Actuary and Deputy CFO, and currently serves as the Chief Risk Officer.
Wei Hoong Chan attended Drake University from 2007 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA). Wei Hoong'smajor areas of study were Actuarial Science and Finance. After completing their degree at Drake University, Wei Hoong Chan then attended INTI College, where they obtained a Certificate of Transfer Credit in Actuarial Science. Unfortunately, the specific years of their enrollment at INTI College are not provided.
