Michael Dunckley

Michael Dunckley, CFA, currently serves in European Investment Grade and High Yield Credit Research at AXA Investment Managers since September 2024. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at AM Best from July 2018 to September 2024, including Associate Director and Director, Head of Analytics for South East Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Michael's experience also includes a tenure at S&P Global as an Associate, specializing in credit analysis of insurance and reinsurance companies, along with market outreach initiatives. Earlier, Michael worked at A.M. Best Company as a Senior Financial Analyst, covering European and Middle Eastern insurers, and at Barclays as a Credit Analyst focused on Lloyd's and London market insurers. Michael holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Bristol and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
