Alex Haertsch

Alex Haertsch is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in accounting and financial management. Currently serving as Head of Accounting at AXA since May 2018, Alex previously held the role of Chief Financial Officer at AXA-ARAG Rechtsschutz AG from October 2016 to May 2019. Prior to these positions, Alex was Head of Financial Closing & Reporting at AXA from November 2010 to September 2016 and worked as Group Corporate Controller at Holcim from August 2008 to October 2010. Alex began the career at KPMG Switzerland as an Assistant Manager from October 2004 to August 2008. Alex holds an Eidg. dipl. Wirtschaftsprüfer from ExpertSuisse/Schweizerische Treuhandkammer and a lic.oec. HSG / Master of Arts HSG in Finance, Accounting, and Controlling from the University of St.Gallen.
