Oscar Gonzalez

Oscar Gonzalez serves as the Group Head of Procurement Performance at AXA since January 2024, leading a 25-member team focused on transforming the Global Indirect Procurement function, which manages over 22,000 suppliers and an annual spend exceeding €4 billion. Prior to this role, Oscar held various positions at AXA México from January 2018 to December 2023, culminating as Chief Procurement Officer overseeing a team of 65 and managing a supply network of over 20,000 suppliers with €1 billion in spend. Earlier experience includes significant roles at GE Capital, managing operational wind-downs and strategic sourcing, as well as experience at Gates Corporation, QST Industries, and General Motors. Oscar holds an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Morelia.
