Alex Yu

Alex Yu has extensive experience in procurement and category management within the chemical industry, currently serving as the Regional Procurement Team Manager at Axalta since April 2017, along with various other managerial roles focused on solvents, pigments, and finished goods tolling. Prior to this, Alex held multiple regional category manager positions at Axalta from August 2012 to January 2017, encompassing monomers, isocyanates, liquid resins, and additives. Alex's career initiated at DuPont Performance Coatings as a chemist from July 2009 to August 2012. Alex holds a Master's degree in Polymer Science from Fudan University and a Bachelor of Science in Polymer Science and Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology.
