Brian Martin

Brian Martin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales and marketing within the coatings and paints industry. Currently serving as Sales Director for the Americas at Axalta Coating Systems since 2018, Brian has previously held significant roles including VP Sales and Marketing at Century Industrial Coatings, where strategic leadership resulted in an 18% average growth in the initial five years. At Comex Paints USA Inc, Brian functioned as General Manager, managing the integration of newly acquired operations with a savings of $6 million. As International Sales Manager for Comex, Brian established the first export program and secured an account with Home Depot. Brian's career began as Associate Director of Business Development at Planigrama SA de CV, where efforts to expand into international markets were initiated. Brian holds an MBA from IESE Business School and a BA in East Asian Studies from Oberlin College.
