Craig Westphal

Craig Westphal is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in materials characterization and durability testing across multiple industries. Currently serving as Senior Technology Manager at Axalta since September 2019, Craig oversees the global Analytical and Weathering Sciences organization, driving strategic initiatives across the Americas, Europe, and China. Previously, as Technology Manager at SABIC from November 2015 to September 2019, Craig led the Analytical Technology team, advancing material characterization for high heat resins and nanotechnology. Craig's career includes significant roles at The Chemours Company and DuPont, specializing in elemental analysis techniques and supporting R&D operations. Craig holds a PhD in Chemistry from The George Washington University and a BA in Chemistry from Wittenberg University. Notably, Craig participated in the prestigious Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, connecting with leading scientists from around the world.
