Melissa Schierl

Melissa Schierl is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, primarily in the manufacturing and industrial sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of SAP S4 Global Finance Reporting & Analysis at Axalta since June 2015, Melissa has led change management initiatives and improved product costing methodologies. Previous roles include Senior FP&A Analyst in both Operations and Commercial divisions at Axalta, where responsibilities included analyzing manufacturing costs, developing business plans, and overseeing financial reporting processes. Prior to Axalta, Melissa held strategic positions at GE Power & Water, GE Corporate Audit Staff, and GE Healthcare, contributing to operational performance through insightful financial analysis and ERP implementations. Melissa's early career included internships with KPMG, Johnson & Johnson, and Maxwell Systems, establishing a foundation in corporate finance and audit practices. Melissa earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Villanova University.
