Grant Mitchell

Grant Mitchell is a Head of Research at Axar, which he joined at the firm’s inception. Prior to Axar, Grant was an Associate at Strategic Value Partners (“SVP”), where he focused on distressed credit investments, primarily in E&P and related services. Prior to SVP, Grant worked at Warburg Pincus LLC where he made private equity investments in financial services companies. Grant began his career as an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs Group Inc. in the Financial Institutions Group. Grant received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
