Tamara Flys

Tamara Flys serves as the Regional Research Manager at CHRISTUS St. Vincent and as a Research Consultant for AXCES Research Group | AXCES Health, both positions held since July 2021. Previously, Tamara was the Director of Research at Southwest CARE Center from January 2014 to October 2021, overseeing clinical trials and research activities, developing Standard Operating Procedures, and managing research staff. Tamara's experience includes coordinating HIV research initiatives at Johns Hopkins University Center for AIDS Research and developing HIV education programs at the Johns Hopkins Center for Clinical Global Health Education. With a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Tamara has a solid foundation in public health and clinical research.
