Wendy Johnson

Wendy Johnson is a dedicated Family Physician currently providing comprehensive primary care and addiction medicine services at El Centro Family Health since January 2024. In addition to this role, Wendy serves as a Clinical Investigator at AXCES Research Group and AXCES Health and as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington, where instruction in graduate-level public health courses and student advising takes place. Previous experiences include serving as Physician and Medical Director at La Familia Medical Center, as Director of New Initiatives at Health Alliance International, and holding various leadership positions at Doctors for Global Health and the Cleveland Department of Public Health. Wendy's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, a Family Medicine Residency from the University of New Mexico, and a Master's in Public Health from The Johns Hopkins University, emphasizing Health Policy and Global Health.
