Hazel Liliana Carreño Vargas

Hazel Liliana Carreño Vargas has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Hazel Liliana started their career in 2005 at AXEDE S.A., where they worked as a Gerente Comercial and later became the Vicepresidente Comercial y de Mercadeo until 2011. In 2011, they joined QW Investments as the Vicepresidente Comercial.

Carreño Vargas also has experience in serving on advisory boards and committees. Hazel Liliana was a member of the Consejo de Administración Agrupación Residencial San Sebastian from 2020, serving as the Presidente. In addition, they served on the board of Edificio Tierra Firme from 2016 to 2018 as a Miembro del Consejo de Administración and on the board of Colegio Gimnasio Colombo Británico from 2017 to 2018 as a Miembro del Consejo.

Outside of their roles in the real estate and education sectors, Carreño Vargas has also been involved in the insurance industry. Hazel Liliana served as a Miembro de la Junta in ASG SEGUROS from 2018, and as a Miembro de la Junta in I-Fort from 2018.

Most recently, Carreño Vargas has taken on leadership positions at Axede. Since 2014, they have been a Miembro de la Junta. In 2016, they also became the Presidencia (comité de presidencia). And starting from February 2021, they took on the role of CEO.

Hazel Liliana Carreño Vargas has a diverse education history. In 1989 to 1995, they attended Universidad Piloto de Colombia where they earned a degree in Ingeniera de Sistemas, specializing in Administración y gestión de empresas, general. Hazel Liliana furthered their education by pursuing an MBA at INALDE Business School from 2002 to 2004. In 2005, they attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management for an Executive Program Kellogg on Marketing, focusing on Marketing. In 2019 to 2020, they studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, specializing in Digital Transformation within the field of Business Administration and Management, General. Most recently, in 2022, they completed a program in Pensamientos Estratégico at the University of Cambridge, specializing in Administración y gestión de empresas, general.
