Joshua Jurs

Joshua Jurs is an accomplished technical leader with extensive experience in research and development, particularly in the fields of polymer chemistry and product formulation. Currently serving as the Technical Director at AXEL Plastics, Joshua manages R&D initiatives, oversees quality control and regulatory functions, and drives the development of new technologies for plastic composites. Prior roles include Global Industrial Oils Technology Manager at Vanderbilt Chemicals, where Joshua fostered partnerships for collaborative product development, and Sr. Research Chemist at AkzoNobel, focusing on agricultural applications and formulation challenges. Joshua's earlier experiences include positions in synthesis and formulation at Oxane Materials, Porous Media, and Halliburton, indicating a strong foundation in chemical engineering and materials science. Joshua earned a Ph.D. in Organic Polymer Chemistry from Rice University and a B.A. in Chemistry from Assumption University.
