Ilya Lukyanov

Ilya Lukyanov has worked in the technology industry since 2006. Ilya began their career at Termika as Head of Software Development, where they were responsible for gathering the team and establishing the entire development process from requirements to customers, introducing SCRUM, setting up a continuous integration pipeline, version control tools, and an issue tracking system. In 2014, they joined Xero as a Senior Developer, leading the development of the new API and WorkflowMax iOS and Android apps. In 2016, they took on the role of Technical Consultant and Technical Director - Cloud and AI at RUSH, where they were responsible for creating world-firsts and NZ-firsts. In 2021, they joined Onit as Vice-President of AI and Technology, leading technical teams in Onit NZ and providing SaaS software to legal departments of the world's famous enterprises. Currently, they work at Axelar Network as a Senior Cloud Engineer.

Ilya Lukyanov has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Industrial and Fire Safety from the Scientific Technical Center of Industrial Safety Problems Research, which they obtained in 2014. Ilya also has an Engineer's Degree from the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute) in Automated Data Processing and Control Systems, which they obtained in 2010. In addition, Ilya has obtained two certifications: an AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services in 2016 and a Xamarin Certified Mobile Developer from Xamarin in 2014.
