Manuel Oliveira

Manuel Oliveira has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. From 2013 to 2014, they were an Events Technical at Centro de Eventos da FEUP, where they were responsible for the preparation and handling of light and sound equipment, as well as image reporting and equipment maintenance. During the same period, they were also a Student Teaching Assistant and Technical Assistant at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto. From 2014 to 2022, they worked at Synopsys Inc, where they held various roles, including ASIC Digital Design Engr, I, ASIC Digital Design, II, and ASIC Digital Design, Sr. I. In their most recent role, they were responsible for the specification, implementation, and maintenance of RTL to high-performance systems synthesized at high speeds in accordance with specifications and customer requirements. Manuel was also responsible for supervising the code quality using a linter tool and for process automation and readability improvements using scripting languages like Python. Manuel is currently a Senior Digital Designer at Axelera AI.

Manuel Oliveira obtained a Technical in Electronics and Telecommunications from Colégio Internato dos Carvalhos in 2010. Manuel then went on to pursue a Master of Engineering - MEng in Electrical and Computers Engineering – Telecommunications, Electronics and Computers at Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, which they completed in 2015. In 2018, they received a certification in PCI Express Gen4 from MindShare, Inc.
