Simon Clemow

Simon Clemow is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in silicon physical design and implementation. Currently serving as the Director of Silicon Physical Design at Axelera AI since November 2023, Simon previously held the position of Technical Director of Silicon Implementation at XMOS from September 2018 to November 2023. Simon's career includes significant roles at Jump Trading LLC as a Senior Hardware Engineer, Intel Corporation as a Senior Physical Design Engineer, and NVIDIA, where responsibilities encompassed managing a multi-site physical design team and overseeing the physical implementation of processor-based modem designs. Prior experience also includes leadership positions at XMOS Semiconductor Ltd as Director of Silicon and Broadcom as Infrastructure Team Leader. Simon holds a first-class B Eng degree in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from the University of Liverpool.
