Stefan Mach

Stefan Mach has a robust background in electrical engineering and computing architecture, with significant experience as a Staff Engineer and SoC CPU Architect at Axelera AI from November 2021 to January 2024. Prior to this role, Stefan contributed as a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD Student at the Integrated Systems Laboratory, ETH Zurich, where the thesis focused on floating-point architectures for energy-efficient transprecision computing. Additional experience includes a position as an FPGA Engineer at GreenWaves Technologies and an Electronics and Chemical Laboratory Intern at Rainbow Photonics, where responsibilities encompassed PCB design and laboratory work. Stefan Mach holds a Doctor of Sciences and a Master of Science degree, both in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from ETH Zürich.
