Shannon Rizer

Shannon Rizer is a seasoned professional in project management and network engineering with extensive experience at Verizon Wireless since September 2006. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer and Project Manager/Product Owner, Shannon leads the implementation of the Accruent Siterra tool across Florida's network departments, managing the entire project lifecycle and stakeholder communication. Prior roles include Senior Network Engineer, where responsibilities included monitoring transport fiber ring capacity and ensuring resource availability for new implementations. Shannon's earlier career includes positions at TEKsystems and AT&T Wireless Services, where expertise spanned roles such as Business Analyst and OMC Specialist. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Business from Wayne State University and a Master's Certificate in Project Management from Villanova University, complemented by ongoing studies at The George Washington University School of Business and Scaled Agile training.
