Samantha Pulliam has extensive work experience in the medical field. Samantha began their career in 2003 at Massachusetts General Hospital as the Associate Director of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery, where they worked until 2015. From 2015 to 2018, they served as the Division Director at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2018, Samantha joined Renovia Inc as the Chief Medical Officer, a position they held for four years until 2022. Currently, they are working as the Chief Medical Officer at Axena Health, starting in 2023.

Samantha Pulliam holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, which they obtained from Duke University between the years 1986 and 1990. Samantha later pursued a medical career and earned their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, where they studied from 1994 to 1998, focusing on the field of Medicine. In 2013, Samantha obtained certification as a Board Certified Subspecialist in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).
