Helena Kazamaki has extensive work experience in the legal field. Helena is currently serving as the Executive Vice President & Group General Counsel at Axens since June 2021. Prior to this, they held various senior positions at ABB, including General Counsel, Group SVP, Global General Counsel Robotics and Discrete Automation, Group SVP, General Counsel Europe, SVP, General Counsel France, SVP, Group Counsel Nuclear Industry, General Counsel MED Region, SVP, and Interim General Counsel, SVP. Helena also worked as an Associate General Counsel at Technicolor (ex Thomson multimedia), and as a Biträdande Jurist at a law firm in Paris and Stockholm. Starting their career, they worked as a Fonctionnaire at the European Commission.

Helena Kazamaki has a diverse education history. In 1972, they attended LYCÉE FRANÇAIS SAINT LOUIS DE STOCKHOLM for a period of two years. Helena then went on to Franska Skolan - École Française de Stockholm and completed their Studentexamen/Baccalaureat in Social Sciences in 1985. Following that, they pursued a degree in Law at Stockholm University from 1985 to 1990, earning an LLM Jur Kand. In 1989, they attended The Hague Academy of International Law to focus on Public International Law. In 1990, they studied European Law at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, earning a DEA. Helena also attended the International Nuclear Law Essentials (INLE) program at OECD/NEA in Paris, France, in 2011. Helena has completed a variety of additional programs throughout their career, including the Senior Leadership Development Program at IMD in 2007, the Cultural Transformation Program and Resilience at ABB Learning and Development in 2018, and Lean Six Sigma training at Lean Methods Group in 2018, where they became a Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
