Payam Heidararabi

Payam Heidararabi has extensive work experience in project finance, consulting, and project management in the energy sector. Payam currently serves as the Head of Project Finance at Axens, where they manage financial costings, projections, and project delivery. Payam also analyzes funding options and designs project export finance mechanisms. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Director, Consulting & Projects at Axens, providing investment consultancy services to national and international clients in the oil and gas industry. Payam has also served as a Senior Project Manager at Axens, where they prepared business plans and managed contracts with vendors and suppliers. Before joining Axens, they worked as a Project Manager and Process Lead at EIED.

Payam Heidararabi completed a Specialized Master in Energy from HEC Paris in 2012-2013. Payam also obtained a degree in Climate & Renewable Energy Finance from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in 2020. Prior to that, they earned a BS in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Oil Refining & Gas Processing from the University of Tehran, where they studied from 1991 to 1996.
