Michael Caranci

Michael Caranci has extensive experience in infrastructure, project finance, and private debt investments, serving as Vice President and Head of Infrastructure & Project Finance at Canada Life from April 2013 to March 2022. Prior to that role, Michael held multiple positions at DBRS from January 2004 to May 2012, including Managing Director for the Rating Committee and Energy Group, as well as Senior Vice President and Assistant Vice President focusing on Power, Utilities, and Project Finance. Michael also served as Director of the Energy Group at CIT between January 2002 and January 2003, and spent several years at JP Morgan Chase as Vice President from January 1995 to January 2002. Michael holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Toronto.
