Shlomi Or

Shlomi Or has a diverse background in the telecommunications industry. Shlomi started their career in 1989 as an MRPV electronic technician in the IDF Air Force. In 1992, they joined Golden Channels and held various managerial roles, including Transmission Department Manager and Technical Services & Network Manager. Shlomi was responsible for overseeing transmission networks, HFC networks, and transmission systems, as well as implementing and supporting network operations.

In 2004, Shlomi joined ECI Telecom, where they served as a Sales Engineer Manager and later as a Product Line Manager. Shlomi had extensive customer-facing experience and was responsible for technical aspects of the sales cycle. Shlomi also led the business plan and product definitions for ECI's microwave product line.

Shlomi's career then took him to Axerra Networks, where they held the position of VP Sales. Shlomi was responsible for driving sales and account management. Additionally, they worked at Global Ortech as the owner, providing consulting services in the telecommunication field, with expertise in fiber optics networks and transport technologies.

Shlomi'smost recent role was Sales Director - EMEA at the Axerra Networks Division of DragonWave Inc. from 2010 to 2012. In this role, they were responsible for generating leads, closing deals, and selling to Tier1 and Tier2 customers.

Continuing their education, Shlomi Or enrolled at the Academic College of Judea and Samaria from 2000 to 2001, where they obtained a Practical Engineer degree in Electronics. Shlomi then pursued a B.Tech degree in Electricity and Electronics at the same institution from 2001 to 2004. Lastly, Shlomi Or attended Ben Gurion University from 2006 to 2008, studying Finance and earning an M.B.A. degree.
