Marc-André Bédard, CPA, CMA

Marc-André Bédard, CPA, CMA has a diverse and extensive work experience. Marc-André started their career as an Analyste en gestion des stocks at Rio Tinto in 2007. Marc-André then worked as an Analyste financier at Procter & Gamble from September 2008 to April 2009. Marc-André then joined Desjardins Sécurité financière, compagnie d'assurance vie as an Analyste comptable for six months before moving on to Groupe Bernières inc, where they served as the Directeur des finances from December 2009 to January 2016.

In 2016, Marc-André started their own consulting company, Marc-André Bédard, CPA, where they worked as a Consultant from January 2016 to August 2017. During this time, they also worked as an Interim Chief Financial Officer at AXES.ai from January 2017 to May 2017.

In August 2017, Marc-André joined AXES.ai as the Directeur performance organisationnelle, where they stayed until August 2018. Marc-André then took on the role of COO/CFO at AXES.ai from August 2018 to June 2020. Currently, they are serving as the EVP & CFO at AXES.ai since June 2020.

Throughout their career, Marc-André has gained expertise in financial analysis, accounting, and organizational performance. Their strong leadership and management skills make him a valuable asset in the finance industry.

Marc-André Bédard, CPA, CMA has a comprehensive education history that includes multiple degrees and certifications. In 2002, they attended Cégep de Victoriaville where they earned a DEC in Techniques administratives with a focus on gestion. Following this, they pursued higher education at Université Laval from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a BAA with a major in comptabilité de management. Marc-André further enhanced their professional skills and knowledge by enrolling in the Programme de leadership stratégique (PLS) at Ordre des CMA du Québec from 2009 to 2011, specializing in comptabilité de management. These educational experiences have equipped Marc-André Bédard with a strong foundation in business administration and a solid understanding of management accounting principles.
