Angela DeJulius, MD, MPH, currently serves as a Primary Care Physician at AxessPointe Community Health Centers and as the Medical Director for the Kent City Health Department, both positions held since 2018 and 2020, respectively. In addition, Angela DeJulius is an Adjunct Professor at Kent State University's College of Public Health and has held significant leadership roles, including Director and Chief University Physician for University Health Services and Director of Kent State of Wellness. Previous experience includes roles as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Northeast Ohio Medical University and Medical Director for both the Portage County Combined General Health District and ONE Health Systems. Angela DeJulius earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, completed a Family Medicine residency at Summa Health System, and holds a Master of Public Health from Kent State University, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Tulane University.

An FQHC is a not-for-profit corporation that delivers primary medical, dental and preventive health services in medically underserved areas. AxessPointe also provides behavioral health and OB-GYN services.
