Miguel Rodriguez has extensive work experience in the field of professional services engineering and solution architecture. Miguel is currently working as a Senior Professional Services Engineer at Axiad since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Yubico, where they held the role of Principal Engineer Professional Services from February 2022 to November 2022, and Senior Services Engineer from October 2017 to January 2022.
Before Yubico, Miguel worked at FIS Memento as a Solution Architect from February 2013 to September 2017. During their time at FIS Memento, they gained experience in designing and implementing data ingestion processes, ad-hoc data conversion processes, and automated deployment processes for fraud detection solutions.
Previously, Miguel worked as a Solution Architect at Redcore Pty Ltd from March 2011 to September 2012. Miguel also worked as a Solutions Architect at Consultants Exchange USA, Inc. from November 2009 to March 2011, where they worked on a modernization project for the Massachusetts Group Insurance Commission.

Miguel Rodriguez holds an educational background in both computer science and physics. Miguel obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, where they studied from 1989 to 1994. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the same university, completing their studies from 1996 to 1998.
In addition to their formal education, Miguel has also earned several certifications in the field of information security. Miguel obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in April 2019. Furthermore, they obtained the Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP) certification from (ISC)² in July 2021. Most recently, in August 2021, they completed the Cryptography I certification from Coursera.
