Ameera Farooqui

Ameera Farooqui is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in public relations and project management. Currently serving as an Account Director at AxiCom since September 2023 and as the Varsity Lacrosse Head Coach at St. Mary's Academy since February 2023, Ameera has previously held senior roles at Edelman and Golin, leading global brands such as Nintendo, Logitech, and LinkedIn. With a strong foundation from WE Communications, where leadership of Microsoft's Future of Work team was key, and a robust background coaching lacrosse at various educational institutions, Ameera combines expertise in strategic communications with a commitment to athletic development and teamwork. Ameera holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Portland State University.
