Andy Courtney has had a varied and extensive work experience. In 2014, they worked as an Office Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and as a Student Volunteer at the National Weather Service. Andy also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater for a field course that travels the Great Plains of the US forecasting and experiencing severe weather. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Geospatial Technician at Continental Mapping Consultants (now Axim Geospatial), where they were responsible for extracting feature and terrain data from aerial imagery using mono and 3-D sources, as well as quality assurance of data in preparation for delivery to various GEOINT clients. Since 2017, they have been a Project Lead / ISSO / AFSO at Axim Geospatial, managing a geospatial feature extraction project, disseminating tasks to staff, managing schedules to ensure deadlines are met, and updating workflows to ensure the highest quality product is achieved. Andy is currently set to return to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2022 as a Teaching Assistant.
