Ashlynn McFarland

Ashlynn McFarland is an experienced Structures and Mechanisms Engineer currently employed at Axiom Space since August 2023. In parallel, Ashlynn serves as a Math Tutor at Fusion Math, beginning in March 2023. Previously, Ashlynn held the position of Lead Structures Engineer at the Society for Advanced Rocket Propulsion (SARP) from October 2020 to June 2023, overseeing the completion of structural components for a liquid bipropellant rocket and managing airframes projects. Earlier roles include Airframes Project Lead and Airframes Structural Engineer at SARP, Structures Engineering Intern at Axiom Space, and X-59 Operations Engineering Intern at NASA's Armstrong Flight Research Center. Ashlynn's early work experience also includes roles in customer service at American Eagle Outfitters and Schmidt Chiropractic Center. Ashlynn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the University of Washington College of Engineering, completing the program in 2023.
