Colton Barnes is an experienced engineering professional specializing in mechanical systems and project management. Currently serving as Project Engineering Manager at Axiom Space, Colton oversees the technical design, manufacturing, and testing of primary structures for Low Earth Orbit space habitations, demonstrating expertise in welding process qualification. Prior to this role, Colton worked as a Mechanical Engineer at W.D. Von Gonten Laboratories, where multiple projects in high-pressure laboratory equipment design were successfully led, achieving significant improvements in performance metrics.
