Joel Anaya

Joel Anaya is a highly experienced mechanical engineer with a focus on integration and design. Currently serving as the Staff Mechanical Integration Design Group Lead and Staff Project Engineer for Structures and Mechanisms at Axiom Space since July 2021, Joel is the Product Owner for the Axiom Docking Adapter structures subsystem. Prior to this role, Joel worked at Enerflex Ltd. from July 2013 to July 2021, where accomplishments included maintaining an accuracy of over 96% in design work and leading the design of over 25 refrigeration and gas compression packages. Joel also has experience as an Applications/Project Engineer at RJ Engineering Systems, Inc., where responsibilities included customer analysis and project planning. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a CAD Operator/Drafting Certificate from Lone Star College-CyFair.
