Stephen Thorsell

Stephen Thorsell is a GN&C Engineer at Axiom Space, having started in June 2022, following a role as AGS6 Chief Engineer at Texas A&M University from June 2021 to May 2022. During this tenure, Stephen also served as interim Guidance, Navigation, and Control Lead, contributing to the re-establishment of the university's Aggiesat Lab post-Covid-19. Previous experience includes positions as a barista at Compass Group and Great Wolf Lodge, and restaurant staff at Spring Creek Barbeque, where Stephen demonstrated leadership by mentoring new employees. Stephen held an internship at the Aggiesat Lab in summer 2020, where significant progress was made in the configuration of the Aggiesat6 ADCS. Stephen earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2022.
