Tim Searle

Tim Searle currently serves as the Director Pacific and Strategic Advisor for Axiom Space, focusing on sales and partnership development in the Pacific and European regions since May 2024. Searle also owns Space Access Consulting and acts as a Panel Member for The Prime Minister's Space Prize for Professional Excellence for the 2024 and 2025 award years. Previous experience includes key roles at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment as a Principal Policy Advisor and Senior Policy Advisor for the New Zealand Space Agency, with a secondment as an Innovative Partnerships Manager. Searle managed joint projects at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in 2022, developing technologies for Galileo, and worked as a Senior Consultant at SpaceTec Partners, specializing in space and defense projects. Earlier positions include a Contracts Analyst at The Walt Disney Company and a Strategy Consultant in emerging technologies. Searle holds a Bachelor's degree in Business/Corporate Communications from Auckland University of Technology and has a background in contracts administration and translation in the mining sector.
