Tony Saldana

Tony Saldana is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the design and development of complex mechanical systems. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Staff Designer at Axiom Space since October 2021, Saldana focuses on the life support systems for commercial space suits. Previous roles include Senior Engineering Designer at Innovex, where new products for the oil and gas industry were developed, and President and CEO of SLD Operations LLC, overseeing new product engineering, real estate investment, and e-commerce. Saldana has also held supervisory and design roles at ProServ and National Oilwell Varco, where expertise in subsea and downhole tool development was honed. Early career experience includes a decade at Bray Controls and machining at Jetstream of Houston. Educational background includes studies at Rice University and Houston Community College.
