Travis Cooper

Travis Cooper is a Space Suit Hardware Engineer at Axiom Space since September 2021, previously serving as a Project/Test Engineer for space suits at Jacobs from January 2020 to September 2021, where responsibilities included ownership of structural and leakage test rigs for the Exploration Pressure Garment Subsystem. Travis gained experience as the Z Lab Lead Solar Cell Engineer at Texas A&M University from August 2018 to December 2019 and interned at Jacobs in summer 2019, focusing on xEMU Space Suit Development. Earlier internships at GHD involved shadowing professional engineers on piping and instrumentation diagrams and conducting pipe stress analysis tests. Travis holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University, completed in 2019.
