Jared Williams, PhD has a wealth of work experience. Jared began their career in 2011 as an Undergraduate Solid-State Researcher at Clemson University Physics Department, where they worked with Dr. Jian Jared and Dr. Terry Tritt synthesizing and characterizing thermoelectric materials as well as designing new methods of measurement for these materials. Jared also served as a Supplemental Instruction Leader at the Academic Success Center of Clemson University during this time. In 2013, they became a Research Assistant at Michigan State University. In 2017, they took on a role as Process Engineer at Intel Corporation. Finally, in 2019, they joined Axion BioSystems as a Process Engineer, and was later promoted to Senior Process Engineer.
Jared Williams holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Materials Science and Engineering from Michigan State University, which they earned from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Clemson University from 2010 to 2013. Jared was also part of the Clemson University Symphony Orchestra from 2008 to 2013. Additionally, they attended Tri-County Technical College from 2008 to 2010. Williams holds several certifications, including Correlation and Regression, Decision Making with Data, Statistical Thinking and Problem Solving, Certified Solidworks Associate in Mechanical Design, Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB), Exploratory Data Analysis, Quality Methods, and ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, all obtained between 2020 and 2021.
