Brendan Lynch

Brendan Lynch has a diverse background in journalism and visual design, currently serving as the Associate Visuals Editor for Illustration at Axios since January 2021, following roles as Senior Visual Journalist and Visual Journalist in Editorial Design. Prior to Axios, Brendan worked at Boston Globe Media as a Social News Strategist and at WGBH as a Digital News Editor/Designer. Brendan's freelance experience includes writing about real estate and startups for the Boston Business Journal. Additionally, Brendan has contributed to Emerson College as an Adjunct Faculty Member, teaching multimedia technology to journalism students. Earlier career positions include reporting and editing roles at the Boston Herald, Mass High Tech, WHDH-TV, and an internship at The Boston Phoenix. Brendan holds an M.A. in Journalism from Emerson College and a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, along with a certification in Front End Web Development from General Assembly.
