Emily Horton

Emily (Sherman) Horton has worked at several companies throughout their career. Emily started as an Event Chair at the American Cancer Society Relay For Life in 2009. Following that, they worked at Sidley Austin LLP as a Legal Secretary and later as a Legal Assistant in the Health Care Practice. In 2014, they joined The Advisory Board Company, where they held the roles of Senior Account Manager/Manager, Growth Accounts and Associate Director, Office of the Chairman. In 2018, they moved to EVERFI, where they worked as an Enterprise and Mid-Market Customer Success Manager in Financial Education. Emily was later promoted to the position of Enterprise Senior Customer Success Manager and then Director of Account Management. Most recently, they joined Axios as a Director and later as a Senior Director in Customer Success for Axios Pro.

Emily (Sherman) Horton holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Leadership Studies, Political Science, and Latin American and Iberian Studies from the University of Richmond.
